Mansfield Area Marines (MAM), is a group of former Marines, that musters each month to continue the rich tradition of Esprit d’Corps. We use our collective resources to support local area Marines and their families in times of need.

Charities and activities include but not limited to:

  • Toys for Tots Toy Drive
  • Marine Corps Birthday Ball
  • Care Packages for Soldiers & Their Families
  • Wounded Warrior Regiment
  • Annual Charity Golf Tournament

You must be or have been a Marine or Navy Corpsman. We ask that you provide a copy of your DD214 to our SGT of Arms to verify that you “Earned the Title.” MAM membership requires an initiation fee for your first year of membership and annual dues thereafter. Dues go towards the support and day to day operations of MAM.

You will receive a MAM T-shirt after you join. We also have a lifetime membership available for $150. Other logo wear is available for purchase in our online shop.

Is MAM Associated with the USMC
No, though the Marine Corps Recruiters are typically members of MAM, and we try to mutually support each other’s missions whenever possible.
What kind of diversity does MAM have?
MAM is a very diverse group. We have members from the Vietnam era to present, both men and women.
Can I bring a guest?
Our meetings are for Marines and Navy Corps-men only. We have additional events, such as the Marine Corps Birthday Ball, where family and guests are welcome. Persons that wish to address our group at meetings are asked to secure this with our Board beforehand.
I just want to hang out with other Marines. Is that OK?
Certainly, but we ask all MAM members to be hard chargers, and support any MAM missions that they are able to. We firmly believe that the more you put into our organization the more you will get out of it, and the more successful MAM will be.
